Oklahoma Farm Bureau members ages 18 to 35 are invited to attend the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers annual summer conference July 10-12 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The three-day conference is an opportunity to meet fellow young farmers and ranchers from across the state, tour local agricultural facilities, and learn more about YF&R leadership opportunities and programs.
Registration for the conference is free. OKFB will reserve hotel rooms at the Staybridge Suites in Oklahoma City for $100 per night. Attendees will receive an invoice upon arrival at the conference.
All conference participants will be entered into a drawing to win a free trip to Washington, D.C. for the 2021 OKFB Congressional Action Tour.

Michael Kelsey

Raised on a commercial cow-calf ranch in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, Michael Kelsey serves as executive vice president of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. Before joining the OCA, he gained more than 20 years of experience in the cattle industry working for the South Carolina Cattlemen’s Association, the Oklahoma Beef Council and most recently as executive vice president of the Nebraska Cattlemen Association.
Roy Lee Lindsey
Issues in Agriculture • Saturday, 1 p.m.
Roy Lee Lindsey has served as executive director of the Oklahoma Pork Council since 1998. His responsibilities include the management of day-to-day operations, promotions, membership and all legislative and public policy issues.
V.J. Smith

V.J. Smith, author of The Richest Man in Town, has been a professional public speaker for more than 20 years and has given more than 2,500 presentations to more than a million people.
JanLee Rowlett
Saturday, 3 p.m.
JanLee Rowlett is the legislative liaison for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. JanLee served members of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association as manager of government and regulatory affairs before returning to Oklahoma in 2019 to join Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture Blayne Arthur’s team and represent the agency on legislative matters.
Dr. Rod Hall
Saturday, 3 p.m.
Serving as the state veterinarian of Oklahoma since 2011, Dr. Rod Hall has actively practiced veterinary medicine upon his graduation from Oklahoma State University in 1977. He began in Alva, then later opened his own practice in Tishomingo in 1978. In 2006, he joined the Animal Industry Services in the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry as a staff veterinarian before his promotion to state veterinarian.
Brad Clay
Sunday service, 10 a.m.
Born in Allen, Oklahoma, Brad Clay is the founder of Final Descent Outdoors who uses his love for the outdoors to minister to students as well as others. What began as an outreach program at his church has grown to a national TV show that is found in more than 40 million homes across North America.
