Oklahoma Farm Bureau members ages 18 to 35 are invited to attend the organization’s Young Famers and Ranchers Legislative Day held Feb. 17 in Oklahoma City.
The event is an opportunity for YF&R members to promote agriculture and rural Oklahoma at the state Capitol and learn more about Farm Bureau policy.
Participants will receive a policy briefing at 8:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel (located at 741 N. Phillips Ave. in Oklahoma City) before heading to visit with legislators at the state Capitol. Prior to the legislative day, members also are invited to an evening with fellow members at Dust Bowl on Feb. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Members also are encouraged to attend the OKFB Leadership Conference which begins with a lunch at noon.
