The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Congressional Action Tour is scheduled for April 12-16, 2015, in Washington, D.C. This tour gives OKFB members an opportunity to visit with legislators and federal leaders about issues of importance to rural Oklahoma. Members wil have the opportunity to hear from American Farm Bureau on a variety of issues along with visiting Congressional Representatives and Senators. The trip will also feature a Legislative Reception and an option tour of Monticello. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. OKFB Leadership Conference is canceled, will be rescheduled
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Leadership Conference scheduled for Feb. 16-17, 2015, has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. Several other Farm Bureau week activities have also been canceled for today so be sure to check with your local Farm Bureau office for an update on events and activities. OKFB will let you know as soon as possible of the updated date for the Leadership Conference.
County Farm Bureaus host events during Farm Bureau Week, Feb. 16-20
Farm Bureau Week kicks off next Monday, Feb. 16 and will last until Friday, Feb. 20. This week allows Farm Bureau members to host different activities and events to help promote Farm Bureau within their communities. ‘Premier canola event for 2015’ set for Enid

Oklahoma Farm Bureau will host their annual Leadership Conference Feb. 16-17 in Oklahoma City at the Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel. The conference focuses on updating members on the legislative issues at state and federal levels for the year. The agenda for the two-day conference features Congressman Frank Lucas and Congressman Steve Russell, who will be giving updates from Washington, D.C. Also on the agenda is Lt. OKFB members travel to San Diego for AFBF Annual Convention
Oklahoma Farm Bureau members gathered in San Diego this week for the American Farm Bureau Federation 96th Annual Convention and IDEAg Trade Show. The convention featured a variety of workshops on many topics. A livestock market update, FDA regulatory and issue update and application of UAS technology in precision agriculture were just a few of the informational sessions offered to members.
