The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee recognized nine outstanding Oklahoma Farm and Ranch families during the awards session of the OKFB annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 7 in Norman. Each of the Farm & Ranch Family Recognition Recipients were featured in a photo presentation featuring photos and audio captured on their agricultural operations. The presentations were shown during the awards program to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding agricultural families. OKFB announces annual meeting trade show vendors
Oklahoma Farm Bureau will host a trade show alongside the organization’s 77th annual meeting held Nov. 16-18 in Norman, Oklahoma. Members attending the three-day convention are encouraged to visit the variety of exhibitors, ranging from jewelry to farm equipment and more. The trade show will be open Friday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., located in the University Ballroom of the Embassy Suites Norman. Newly-elected state leaders to address Farm Bureau members at annual meeting
Oklahoma Farm Bureau members gathered for the organization’s 77th annual meeting Nov. 16-18 will hear from Gov.-Elect Kevin Stitt, Lt. Gov.-Elect Matt Pinnell and Attorney General Mike Hunter. Stitt is scheduled to appear in a pre-recorded video during a general session on Saturday morning, Nov. 17, while Pinnell and Hunter will address members on-stage during the opening session on Friday, Nov. 16. More than 80 percent of OKAgFund-supported candidates elected
The OKAgFund, Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s political action committee, achieved an 84 percent success rate in supporting candidates who were successful in the Nov. 6 general election. The committee was 100 percent successful in backing statewide candidates who were elected including Gov.-elect Kevin Stitt, Lt. Oklahoma Farm Bureau will recognize members and counties for leadership, service and excellence during an awards banquet to be held Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. during organization’s 77th annual meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. Congressional delegates earn Friend of Farm Bureau Award
Five members of Oklahoma’s congressional delegation recently were honored with the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Friend of Farm Bureau Award for their efforts to support Oklahoma farmers and ranchers during the 115th U.S. Congress. Sen. Jim Inhofe, along with Rep. Tom Cole, Rep. Frank Lucas, Rep. Markwayne Mullin and Rep. Jason Young Band to perform at OKFB annual meeting
Red-dirt music group the Jason Young Band will entertain Oklahoma Farm Bureau members on Friday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. during the organization’s annual meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. The concert is free-of-charge to members attending the OKFB convention and will follow the annual meeting’s Foundation Night Out. Born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, Young started his musical career working for Nashville recording artist Ty England. Oklahoma Farm Bureau women are encouraged to attend a Women’s Leadership Committee luncheon featuring American Farm Bureau Federation WLC Chair Sherry Saylor on Friday, Nov. 16 at 11:30 a.m. during the OKFB annual meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. During the lunch, Saylor will speak about her experience with the committee and will encourage Farm Bureau women in their work to advocate for farmers and ranchers.
