Oklahoma primary election set to take place June 30

June 2, 2020

With the Oklahoma primary election coming up on June 30, OKFB members are encouraged take part in their civic duty and vote. Below, find voter resources to prepare to participate in the state’s primary elections.

If you have yet to register to vote and would like to participate in the Oklahoma primary election, submit your application to the Oklahoma State Election Board by June 5. You can either fill out your voter registration form online, or download the form and mail it to the Oklahoma State Election Board.

New absentee voter guidelines

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is June 23 at 5 p.m. To request your ballot, either fill out the online form, or download the form and mail it in to your county election board.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oklahoma Legislature passed Senate Bill 210 to provide new options for absentee voter verification.

Instead of having your signature notarized or witnessed by two people, Oklahomans now have the option of attaching a copy of an identification document to the affidavit envelope instead. Find more information on this new method of absentee voting on the Oklahoma State Election Board website.

Vote early

There are three early voting opportunities to take part in if you choose.

  • Thursday, June 25, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Friday, June 26, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 27, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

To utilize the early voting option, visit your county election board.

Polling location and ballot sample

Polls will be open on June 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your local polling location as well as a preview of your own ballot, use the Oklahoma State Election Board voter portal here.
