Oklahoma Farm Bureau will host a live webinar on Monday, Aug. 3 featuring Gov. Kevin Stitt regarding the Oklahoma Commission on Cooperative Sovereignty, created to address concerns and make recommendations to the state and to Congress after the recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings in McGirt v. Oklahoma and Sharp v. Murphy.
The webinar will be held on Monday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m central time.
Stitt will be joined on the call by McCurtain County Farm Bureau member Brent Bolen, a newly appointed member of the cooperative sovereignty commission, and OKFB President Rodd Moesel.
Created through a recent executive order, the Oklahoma Commission on Cooperative Sovereignty will advise the governor on civil, criminal and regulatory concerns, and will be composed of leaders from various spheres including law, government and business.
