Oklahoma Farm Bureau is gearing up for August Area Meetings, which serve as the beginning of OKFB’s grassroots policy development season. These meetings signal the beginning of the grassroots path to setting OKFB policy for the next year. Farm Bureau members from around Oklahoma will come together at various locations throughout the state to discuss the issues that impact agriculture and rural Oklahoma. We hope to see you there!
August Area Meetings will be held across the state starting Aug. 12 and will conclude on Aug. 22. Below is a tentative schedule, which we will update as we confirm details. Meetings are listed by district.
District 1
Thursday, Aug. 14: Woodward – Big Dan’s Steakhouse, 6:30 p.m.
District 2
Thursday, Aug. 21: Hobart – Kiowa County FB office, 12 p.m.
District 3
Tuesday, Aug. 12: El Reno – Canadian County FB office, 6:30 p.m.
District 4
Friday, Aug. 22: Ardmore – Casa Roma, 12 p.m.
District 5
Tuesday, Aug. 19: Krebs – Pete’s Place, 12 p.m.
District 6
Monday, Aug. 18 – JL’s Barbecue, 11 a.m.
District 7
Monday, Aug. 18: Enid – Hoover Building at Garfield County Fairgrounds, 6:30 p.m.
