Oklahoma Farm Bureau and Oklahoma 4-H have partnered to sponsor a Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the OKFB/Oklahoma 4-H ATV Training Facility near the Logan County Fairgrounds in Guthrie.
Open to students in grades third through sixth, safety program topics will include ATV and UTV safety, electrical safety, fire safety, rollover prevention, tractor safety, grain elevator safety and much more.
Free to all schools and students, the first 150 students to be signed up will be accepted for the program. Lunch will be provided to the participants.
The safety day is a program of the Progressive Agriculture Foundation and is the largest rural safety and health education program for children in North America.
To register for the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day, parents, teachers or administrators must fill out the online form by Oct. 8. Attendees must bring signed copies of both release forms on the day of the event.
