Farm Bureau leaders encouraged to celebrate Read an Accurate Agriculture Book Week Sept. 8-11

September 2, 2020

Oklahoma Farm Bureau leaders across the state are invited to share the work of farmers and ranchers by participating in Read an Accurate Agriculture Book Week to be observed Sept. 8-11, 2020.

Farm Bureau members may participate by reading an accurate agriculture book to students in their community. The OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee has provided accurate agriculture books at each county office that may be used.

Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom also will grant every educator, FFA chapter and 4-H club that participates the opportunity to win a bushel basket full of accurate agriculture books. Educators also may tune in to hear special guests read agriculture books including Congressman Frank Lucas, Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell, Secretary of Agriculture Blayne Arthur and more.

For more information, please contact Marcia Irvin at (405) 523-2300.
