County Farm Bureaus across the state will celebrate and promote the grassroots organization during Farm Bureau Week held Feb. 19 through Feb. 22.
The weeklong celebration provides county Farm Bureaus an opportunity to promote the organization in local communities. Many county offices will host an open house to allow those interested in Farm Bureau to stop by and learn more about the organization.

Cotton County
Cotton County Farm Bureau will be serving free pulled pork sandwiches for Farm Bureau Week on Monday, Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its office located at 125 N. Broadway in Walters.
Garfield County
Garfield County Farm Bureau will celebrate Farm Bureau Week by giving away goodie bags and refreshments at the county office. The county is hosting a prize drawing for an Atwood’s and Plants A Plenty gift cards at the end of the week. Members also will provide and serve coffee at the Northwest Stockyards on sale day.
Grant County
To celebrate Farm Bureau Week, Grant County Farm Bureau will provide free coffee across the county. The county Farm Bureau will pick up the tabs at local morning gathering spots throughout the week.
Harper County
Harper County Farm Bureau will celebrate Farm Bureau Week by hosting safety courses with OKFB Safety Services. DUI Prevention and Bike Safety programs will be presented at Laverne High School and Laverne Elementary School on Tuesday, Feb. 19. A bike safety program also will be offered at the Harper County Farm Bureau office on Tuesday, Feb. 19. The OKFB Foundation for Agriculture’s Grown For You Commodity Trailer will present to students at Laverne Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 21 with local FFA students. Finally, the county will provide a free hot dog lunch on Friday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kay County
Kay County Farm Bureau will host member appreciation days at both county office locations. Members may stop by the Ponca City office (1312 Princeton Ave.) on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or the Blackwell office (206 E. Blackwell Ave.) on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for free refreshments.
Lincoln County
Lincoln County Farm Bureau will host an open house for its members and the community on Friday, Feb. 22 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at both locations in Chandler (802 Manvel Ave.) and Prague (1004 W. Main, Drawer C).
Nowata County
Nowata County Farm Bureau members can stop by the county office thorughout the week for free refreshments. The county will serve cake and refreshments at the Nowata County Courthouse on Tuesday, Feb. 19. The county also will host a membership drive at the Nowata County Spring Livestock Show on Feb. 22 and 23.
Payne County
Payne County Farm Bureau will provide coffee, donuts and information about Farm Bureau at the Payne County Stockyards on Wednesday, Feb. 20. The county also will provide coffee and donuts during a pesticide applicators license testing at Stillwater Milling on Feb. 20. Payne County members will be back at Stillwater Milling on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 to encourage people to join Farm Bureau and will host a drawing to win $100 of A&M feed. Throughout the week, Payne County also will host a photo contest on its Facebook page.
Pontotoc County
Pontotoc County Farm Bureau will celebrate Farm Bureau Week by giving members an opportunity to win a new Nexgrill propane grill. Any member coming into the county office during Farm Bureau Week will receive a ticket. At the end of the week, the lucky number will be drawn. The Pontotoc County Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee will also have an open house on Friday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with refreshments.
Pottawatomie County
Pottawatomie County will host a membership appreciation day with free hamburgers and hot dogs on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at its Shawnee office (3301 N. Kickapoo).
