County Farm Bureaus were recently recognized for their efforts to further agriculture and rural Oklahoma.
Each year, OKFB recognizes the county Farm Bureaus that have excelled in program areas such as membership, public policy, local affairs, service to members, Women’s Leadership Committee and Young Farmers and Ranchers with a Presidential Star Award.
Payne, Woodward, Comanche, Okmulgee, Okfuskee, and Caddo County Farm Bureaus each received the Six-Star Presidential Award for excelling in six program areas.
Receiving the Five-Star Presidential Award were Nowata, Kiowa, LeFlore, Washita and Kingfisher County Farm Bureaus.
Four-Star Presidential Awards were presented to Texas, Custer, Stephens, Rogers and Alfalfa County Farm Bureaus.
Kay, Woods, Washington, Lincoln, Love, Jackson and Choctaw County Farm Bureaus were honored with the Three-Star Presidential Award.
Awards are typically presented during the organization’s annual meeting in November, but OKFB opted to conduct a virtual business meeting this year to protect members’ health and safety. Award winners will be highlighted throughout the month of November on OKFB’s website and social media platforms.
