Armbrusters honored as District Seven Farm and Ranch Family

The Scott and Allison Armbruster Family of Burlington received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Seven Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Armbrusters farm in Alfalfa County just south of Burlington. The family has 1,200 acres where they grow alfalfa, wheat, soybeans and milo and care for a cow/calf herd. Bryants named District Eight Farm and Ranch Family

The Carrel and Louise Bryant family of Ada received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Eight Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Bryant family has a comprehensive pecan operation that they run with their two adult children, Randy and Lisa. The family also raises cattle and grows hay on their farm ground in Pontotoc County. Herrmanns named District Nine Farm and Ranch Family

The Arnold and Roselle Herrmann family of Chandler received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Nine Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  Arnold and Roselle have spent a lifetime in the area where both their families have farmed for generations. Alfalfa County named top county Farm Bureau

Alfalfa County Farm Bureau was presented with the 2018 Oklahoma Farm Bureau John I. Taylor Award on Saturday, Nov. 17 during the organization’s 77th annual meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. Texas County Farm Bureau was honored with Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Lewis H. Munn Award on Saturday, Nov. 17 during the organization’s 77th Annual Meeting in Norman, Oklahoma.  Also known as the Farm Bureau Builders Award, the award is presented each year to the county that conducts the strongest program in a chosen area. Washita County couple named OKFB’s top young farmers and ranchers

Nocona and Jordan Cook were named Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award Winners at the organization’s 2018 annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman, Oklahoma. The Cooks received the recognition for their dedication as young agriculturalists, raising cattle and growing wheat, hay, cotton and other crops in western Oklahoma’s Washita County. Joshua Anderson of Mannsville was honored with the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Excellence in Agriculture Award on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the organization’s annual meeting in Norman. Emma Jumper of Payne County was named the 2018 Young Farmers and Ranchers Discussion Meet winner on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 77th Annual Meeting in Norman, Oklahoma. Jumper competed against eight other participants in three rounds of debate-style discussion where performance was evaluated on the exchange of ideas and information on pre-determined topics.
