Representing approximately 150,000 individual members, the founding organizations of ROCO include the National Association of Royalty Owners of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Farm Bureau, American Farmers and Ranchers, Farmers Royalty Company and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. OKFB welcomes $30 million grants for rural broadband
Oklahoma Farm Bureau commends the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s recent announcement to invest more than $30 million dollars in broadband infrastructure in rural Oklahoma, a priority issue for the organization. FFA members develop communications skills at OKFB FFA Reporters Conference
Nearly 60 FFA members from across the state attended Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 2021 FFA Reporters Conference held Thursday, July 15 at Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. OKFB partners with McAfee & Taft to examine Oklahoma foreign-owned land law
Oklahoma Farm Bureau and Oklahoma City-based law firm McAfee & Taft have created a video to provide answers on the state’s foreign-owned land statutes. The informational video was produced in response to questions about land ownership the organization received from members across the state. Cole Marshall, an attorney at McAfee & Taft, explained the basic tenets of Oklahoma’s laws on foreign ownership of land in the short video. Newly proposed state legislative districts released Wednesday will help ensure rural Oklahoma’s voice is represented in the decade to come, according to the state’s largest general farm organization. Jack Money of The Oklahoman recently was honored with Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 2020 Journalist of the Year Award. Nash joins OKFB as communications specialist
Oklahoma Farm Bureau recently hired Rebekah Nash as a communications specialist. Nash is re-joining OKFB after completing the 2019 summer communications internship program.
