Foundation to sell brick pavers for commemorative courtyard

The Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation is now offering personalized, engraved brick pavers to provide the basis for the Oklahoma Farm Bureau 75th Anniversary Commemorative Courtyard, to be located on the southeast side of the home office in Oklahoma City. The Foundation will begin selling the brick pavers at the OKFB 74th Annual Meeting. The four-inch by eight-inch brick pavers may be engraved with up to three lines of text, with a maximum of 18 characters per line. OKFB to host Flapjack Fundraiser at annual meeting

Oklahoma Farm Bureau is proud to host the Flapjack Fundraiser at its annual meeting on Nov. 14 at 7:30 a.m. in the Cox Convention Center. Proceeds from the breakfast will go to the Bushels for Books Program, a partnership between the Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation and the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers. The program will provide bushel baskets full of accurate agriculture books to teachers from five Oklahoma schools.  Tickets are $15 and may be purchased during the reception immediately following the opening session, at the Foundation’s booth in the trade show, and outside the breakfast Saturday morning. Farm Bureau women gather in Duncan for fall rally

The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee hosted its 2015 Fall Rally Oct. 30-31 in Duncan, Oklahoma. 2015 OKFB convention awards program to be held Friday

Each year at its annual convention, Oklahoma Farm Bureau recognizes various individuals for leadership, service and excellence within the organization and the agricultural industry. State resolutions committee prepares policies for 2016

The Oklahoma Farm Bureau state resolutions committee met Oct. 20-21 in Oklahoma City to review, condense and organize resolutions for its 2016 policy book. The meeting served as one of the final steps in the organization’s grassroots policy development process. Four families nominated for state Farm Family of the Year

Four Oklahoma Farm Bureau families from across the state have been named District Farm Family of the Year and are nominated for the state Farm Family of the Year award.  The Farm Family program, sponsored by the OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee, recognizes farm and ranch families who embody the best traditions of Oklahoma agriculture and rural life. Each year, the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Convention Trade Show is held as a part of the organization’s annual meeting. Nearly 25 vendors are registered and the list continues to grow. The vendors range from jewelry to tractors and everything in between. Make sure to browse through the trade show this year! Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation to sponsor Oklahoma Honor Flight

The Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation will sponsor one of the final Oklahoma Honor Flights, departing from Midwest City, Oklahoma, on Oct. 21. Oklahoma Honor Flights has served Oklahoma World War II veterans for the past six years by transporting them to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifice.
