Last week, we were notified of the passing of Bart McSpadden. For the past 18 years Bart has worked as a lobbyist and partner with McSpadden and Associates and during that time he has represented the interests of Oklahoma’s pork producers and the Oklahoma Pork Council.
Bart is survived by his wife Kate, children Noah, Chloe, Tucker, and Luke, and his mother Donna McSpadden.
After his father, Clem McSpadden, passed away in 2008, Bart continued the family lobbying firm along with his nephew James McSpadden. McSpadden and Associates continues to represent okPORK at the Capitol today.
Bart had a kind and gentle soul. He was great friend and he loved his wife and absolutely adored his children.
Services will be Wednesday, September 24, 10 a.m. at the Chapel at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N Portland Ave., Oklahoma City.
A memorial fund has been established in his honor at Arvest Bank, Attn: P. Andrade, 2025 Sonoma Park Dr., Edmond, OK 73013 and at Bank of Commerce, PO Box 29, Chelsea, OK 74016.
