LeFlore County Farm Bureau proudly sponsors the annual Balloon Fest in Poteau. LeFlore County’s top commodities are cattle, chickens, hay and soybeans.

LeFlore County is home to many historical landmarks, such as Cavanal hill which is the world’s highest hill, Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center, Heavener Runestone State Park and Ouachita National Forest.

The county also attracts many tourist with the Talimena National Scenic Byway, Queen Wilhelmina State park, Robert S Kerr Reservoir and Old Frisco Trail.
