Kay County Farm Bureau county office is located in Blackwell with a satellite office in Ponca City. Kay County’s population as of 2010 census is 46,562, with more than 1,950 Farm Bureau member families.

Historic attractions in Kay County include the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch, E.W. Marland Mansion and Grand Home, Pioneer Woman Statue and Museum, Poncan Theatre and Wentz Camp.

Wheat, cattle, hay, soybeans, corn and milo lead the way for agriculture in the county.

The Kay County Farm Bureau and the Women’s Leadership Committee are active in local legislative updates, Kay County Healthy Living Coalition, community safety programs and host a defensive driving course through the OKFB Safety Services Program.

Additionally, they sponsor many events throughout the community such as local Our Food Link activities, the Kay County Jr. Livestock Show, the Kay County Free Fair 4-H horse show, tractor driving contest and the state 4-H horse show, the Kay County 4-H Achievement Banquet, and offer two $500.00 scholarships to county graduating high school seniors.

The Kay County Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee supports the OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee’s Nurses Training Scholarship, Farm City Festival, and the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture’s Bushel’s for Book’s program.

We appreciate all the opportunities our Oklahoma State Farm Bureau gives us to be informed and interact with them for our state.
