Grant County was settled as part of the Cherokee Strip Land Run of 1893. Our top commodity is wheat, followed by livestock and oil and gas production and distribution.
Grant County Farm Bureau supports the county’s livestock shows, donates to the 4-H clubs as well as the area schools. Grant County Farm Bureau has an active Women’s Committee that supports the OKFB Women’s Leadership Committee’s in Nurses Training Scholarship, Farm City Festival and Bushel’s for Books.
