Hay and cattle lead the way for agriculture in the county. Hugo, Circus City USA, is home to the largest tented circus in the country, Carson and Barnes Circus, and two smaller circuses. The local cemetery, Mount Olivet, is the final resting place of rodeo legends, Freckles Brown, Lane Frost and Todd Whatley.
